I saw this the other day (yesterday? maybe) and it made me chuckle and also realize how true this is. When every we weave a “sticky” web born of ill intent we almost always end up caught in it ourselves…at some point. I think that is life’s way of “tricking” us to learn to love. LOL!!
I love how you put lessons to your photos. It is quite a talent you have. I’ve thought of doing the same on days that I don’t have time for a full post, and yet I never seem to come up with the wonderfully creative poem, insights and wisdom that you do. Maybe I could do what Lance does and do a photo and someone else’s quote. LOL!! Regardless your photos are always lovely and creative…expressive. This looks like one of those tent caterpillar nests that we used to get when I lived in Maine. Fascinating!! Would love to watch and film them making the web!
Yes, I think some call it Karma, and some “what goes around, comes around” – bottom line, we cannot think we can inflict pain and negative energies on the world around us, and not have them come back to us. We are all one in this together after all.
I would imagine it would be something to see these critters make this web!
And thank you so much for your feedback – I love doing this – both taking the photos and attaching lines, words, lessons, poems, etc… of inspiration and such. And it is a pleasure to share it.

HI Evita,
Are you sure this is a spider web… I would have think that this was a cocoon of some sort!!! Nice picture!
Hi Chris
No, you are right, it was a cocoon, but I liked the words and idea of it being a web too ;)

“Only spin those webs, which you wouldn’t mind getting caught in yourself.” Brilliant. I adore this kind of writing.
