Evening Hours

How do you spend your evening hours?

Do you rush home, rush around the house, feeling like there is never enough time?

Do you spend them working?

Do you spend them relaxing, taking in the day that just passed?

Do you engage in conversations with others around a dinner table?

Do you spend them happy and at peace?

An evening brings closure to each day.

May you also find closure within yourself each day.

  1. Can’t complain here… most nights I’m working on my artwork! And very often my wife joins me in the art room to do something she is working on. We have music on and some times critique each other’s work. It’s cool!

I spend my evening hours doing several of things above: working online in my classroom, sitting by the sea having a coffee with friends, savoring a meal with my husband and catching up on the day, simply being. I feel grateful, though, that it is rare anymore for evening to be a hectic, run-around time. I am so thankful for this.

  3. The weather has been so beautiful of late that I have been sitting(lounging) in the backyard taking in all the beautiful evening bird song and listening to late night on CBC.ca
I do miss my evening walks by the sea but I have fond memories that sustain me until I get home!
You evening shot is beautiful and peaceful Evita.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

That does sound beautiful Carolyn. I find birds singing at any time of the day can be so therapeutic and calming. Thanks for sharing and wish you a great week!

    Hi Evita,
A nice photo which brings thoughts to my mind. It’s like our life.Like those dark branches, its complicated and full of troubles sometimes. But behind the shadows, its clear blue sky. Though we have rough situations, life is still light and joyful behind them. Exactly like that clear blue sky.
    Thanks for sharing Evita !

Vikum – that is one of the best and beautiful analogies I have heard in a long time. Many thanks and appreciation for sharing that with me and all the readers here!

    Hi Evita,
A little bit of all these things are occupying my evenings! As a researcher, I sometime have to work home and sometime i can jsut enjoy life… Beautiful pictures… And by the way, what about you? ;-)

    • Evita Ochel says:

Sounds great Chris. And I think my evenings are similar – if I feel like working on an article or something I feel passionate about – I do. If I feel like resting – I do that too. I try to make sure my evenings are always calm, and sleep comes at a good time. Thank you for asking :)
