Humble or Shy

It is generally not well looked upon in our society to be too confident. In fact confidence at times can come across as being “cocky” or “conceited”.
This has caused numerous people over the years to play down their talents, downplay who they are and most critically not believe in their own worth, resorting to quiet shyness about who they truly are.
Today I invite you to bring back your voice. Bring back your spirit. Start allowing your confidence to shine through. Allow yourself to start stripping your old coats of shyness and let your light shine forth.
We can be who we truly are within. We can speak our truth. We can share our gifts and talents in many beautiful and humble ways without feeling the need for being shy. The person who judges you the most, is most often you.
Let the real YOU shine through freely!

Hi Evita,
Sumptuous picture once again and nice thought too! I think the most important thing is probably to be happy about what we are and where we are… I know it is difficult for some person to interact because of others attitude, but being yourself at every minute of the day and being happy about that is the best!
So true Evita….when one lives in duality and all actions are polarized we either learn to fight or we learn to close our mouths. But as one detaches from outcome and has faith in what is being revealed, knowing that there will be no retribution because the strings have been severed and that there are no more chains to be yanked, then one freely and happily expresses that which is felt in the Moment. Nothing is to be taken personally by anyone. From a higher view point, every connection, whatever the label upon it may be, is an invitation for growth and expansion, if only the communication can be truly listened to.
@ CHRIS – Indeed Chris, being yourself – I so agree. Just making sure that our “true” self has shed any layers that were adopted or unfairly pushed onto us, which masked us from knowing our true self.
@ BERNIE – Oh Bernie, that world you describe in your comment is like music to my ears…indeed a world where we can all feel free to express ourselves. That is something I make a point of living each day…after all the outside world, mirrors our inner world…I am learning to detach more and more.
