Remembering You

Remember the wonder that you once held in your mind.
Remember how easy it once was to be kind.
Remember the sparkle that once glistened your eyes.
Remember how good it was just to hear lullabies.
Remember the love that was once so easy to hold in your heart.
And remember the gift of how each moment always provided a fresh start.

Love the expression of wonderment in this baby’s eyes. Gorgeous light!!!
Evita,
Your words along with this picture are deeply peaceful. That speaks very much of your soul, and the gift you give through words and pictures here.
Dear sweet Evita, This is profoundly beautiful, not only the babies expression and energy, but the message of who we REALLY are. I don’t know if I told you, but a few years back I got out a photo of me at 2 1/2 years old, a photo which I related to. Then I framed it and put it where I would see it every day. Then I looked at that child so as to always remember that she lives in me today… and more importantly to remember to treat myself the way I would treat that little child if she were my own little girl (that I gave birth to).
It is a powerful exercise. It helps give us the same compassion, forgiveness, love, non-judgment that we would give to that little girl if she were a child I’d born. It helps us protect, nurture and be kind to ourselves.
Thank you my dear pure of heart friend for just being you. I can’t really express to the depth I feel it what your presence in my life means. I just know that you being who you are, and that I am included in your love, makes the fabric of who I am stronger. I am very aware of your open heart and soul…and love. It washes over me like a soothing balm that is given so freely. You have become part of who I am. I send you my deepest gratitude and thank you from my heart. You are seen, loved and so appreciated. Robin
Oh, Evita, this is so incredibly special. The baby’s expression… Your profoundly simple message… All of me softened and opened and embraced “me,” Little Julie, just in reading this. You have such a gift… Thank you from my heart.
xoxo ~Julie
The expression in the photo is definitely priceless.
Often these days I will be meditating or my mind will wander and I will see an image of my self from when I was a little kid. I suspect he is coming more and more to the surface so that every moment can be experienced as if through the fresh eyes of a child.
You have really captured the magic of the holidays!! Perfection, Evita!
Maybe it’s just my perception, but Evita I feel you are getting better with each post! Wonderfully stated, thank you.
Evita, I wish to you and yours a happy and creative 2010!!!
I think babies are the luckiest people in the world. :)
