Courageous Steps

Where is your life leading you?
Where are you leading your life?
There are moments where the waters of life may be cold and unpleasant;
This does not mean we need to stay away, nor does it mean we need to jump in to prove something either.
Choose what is right for you.
Have the courage to walk in or to not walk into a certain situation.
It is not about what others think is the right thing to do.
It is about you and whether you can live with the decision of the steps you have taken.

Hi Evita.
I love my feet; especially when they are bare and standing on earth or in sand on the beach. I like how you’ve asked, “Where is your life leading you and where are you leading your life?” Left, right, left, right — a joint effort.
You put things in perspective very well! Thanks
Such a perfect pairing of word and image. So very inspiring…
Where my life is leading me is a mystery, but at the same time I am getting exactly what I wish for. From Here, it looks like a journey back into the core of our Being.
We can touch the water from the density of the shores and gaze into the ocean feeling as if we can’t fully understand its hidden mysteries. But to know it, we can return to it from which we came. Once we get our feet wet, we are more inclined to get our legs wet, till the water touches our hearts, and then we find we are submerged and baptized by the sea fully. The water is now over our heads, but we surrender to it. We have faith we will not drown. This is the time to swim in the ocean. We can float and dive deeply bringing to the surface the treasures we have long forgotten.
@ DAVINA – Yes, there is nothing quite like being barefoot and touching the Earth, connecting with it as one…
@ ERIC – And thank you Eric for your kind comments and feedback!
@ MARCIE – Glad to hear you liked it Marcie!
@ BERN – That is the most important part I think…to realize where we are, even if we don’t know quite yet where we are going.
Your thoughts on the water are so beautiful. You give it the attention and care that I so truly believe it deserves. It’s presence is very powerful in our lives
Mind is unable to define the nature of the Path. Detachment is the path of least resistance. The fear illusion is dissolving. Vegetarianism is the vehicle for connecting to consciousness on deeper levels. Body consciousness is expanding as is insight into unconditional love. May every moment, every stage of your own chosen journey enrich you.
What a lovely thought provoking post. I’m blogrolling you Evita!
Wishing you a wonderful year ahead.

We all have to take it slow.
Hope you have a happy new year. :)
