Guidance From Afar
Sometimes those who love us most cannot intrude into our lives.
Sometimes we want to be told how things should be or how what we should do.
But this journey is ours to live.
No one can tell us what the right thing for us to do is.
Therefore, be grateful for the guidance that loved ones offer from afar.
And be conscious of when you offer another one advice or guidance, to make sure you are not pushing them into a direction that is right for you.
Allow others to have their experience too.

Totally agree wtih you, and it is getting terribly true for parents… Just the right equilibrium so that you will not push your kids to do what you would have like to do in your life, but let them take their own direction… Beautiful words and post as usually!
I love the symmetry in this photo.
I am so dominating sometimes but I’m glad to be at least aware of it and trying to let others do what they want.
