Stand Out

Boston Building Down Town

Do you ever feel like you just want to stand out all by yourself?

Not for the sake of standing out, but to really feel who you are.

To get away from the crowds.

To get away from all the noise.

To feel the space around you.

To feel the air within you.

Just to feel you.

Evita — I love the angles on the building and how it juts itself powerfully into the sky. Great picture.

And yes, I do like to stand out by myself. It’s an absolutely beautiful day where I’m at. I just came inside, but while outside, I raised my arms and did a slow spin around while looking at the sky. It felt marvelous. Thanks:~)

That says it All in perfect unison with this photo Evita.

And by standing out alone, we make room to touch everything else.

To be just You – that’s a powerful word. Be truthful for who we are. Standing out and be proud of the uniqueness one has. Think the skyscaper pic is just perfect for the poem.

  8. Evita,
I need to come to this site more! The poem is beautiful.

I think all professional speakers have gregarious personalities and want to stand out. Or we’d neve overcome the fear of speaking.

As a speaker I have to be careful to not believe my own hype. That’s the danger of wanting to stand out.

Until the late 1970′s, the Hancock Building was very prone to dropping those pretty blue windows onto the tops of passersby on the sidewalk. I spent too much of my time working on the myriad cases of litigation involving this building to ever really admire it.

Now, the washboard building down by South Station, or even the South Station Building… those are real nice.

@ MARCIE – Yes is is that tower in Boston. I took a short road trip there at the end of October and I have to say what a beautiful city! I was totally mesmerized!!!
