An empty TO DO list isn't TO DO list... it's impossible on the ground, wait for six feet under stage... Nice and funny scene catch. Bravo.

Sometimes one needs to take on a lot in order to reflect more deeply into one's life and where one's priorities lie. Chaos usually has to be created in order for people to be shaken up and to loosen up their rigid egoic views to see that there is a vast world of potentiality before their limiting vision.

"To Do" lists are great to begin looking at one's self and their actions very closely. One begins to look at details closely and learns not to take the Moment for granted. And then by seeing the overall patterns from initially looking at the isolated details, one can then let go of the to do's and begin to flow with "To Be".

Hi dear Evita,

I just LOVE this photo it made me laugh out loud. It is just so full of life and character. Just delightful. What a site to see. He must be a professional dog walker. LOL!!

AND the message is just fantastic with this photo. I adore it. It is something I have to think about every single day and remind myself that I have a right to have some time for myself. After all it IS MY LIFE. My precious life. When I look at it in terms of it not always "being" (at least maybe not in this form), that makes me prioritize very rapidly. You really start to see what DOES matter and what DOESN'T matter. There is MUCH that doesn't matter. We only think it does or are conditioned to believe that it does. Nope, it just doesn't.

This is a quote of yours that is getting printed out and put on my wall. Thank you for it. I almost felt like you wrote it for me. But then....I often feel when I come here that you write these pieces for me. Isn't that so nice. I love that.

You have a beautiful soothing way about you that I am so drawn to over and over. I am glad your life touches mine.

Hugging you,
Robin

I am greatly considering myself, call me selfish but I am saying "no" on a grand scale from now until this time next year. And I feel GREAT about it! I am free to be.

@ PEENKFRIK - Reflecting through good discussion is always a good way to initiate some changes in our lives.

Look within and see what it is and how you really see your life going.

@ JOHN - Thanks John, they were beautiful dogs indeed!

@ MIKE - You know Mike, that is such a precious story to share - thank you. It is unfortunate that many times people need to wait till a tragedy happens to change things in their life - to reflect and see how things have gone.

We don't need tragedies any more, I think as humanity we have learned enough to learn form the experiences of others. Each day is precious and focusing on our priorities in life is I think something that we should re-examine from time to time, so we don't get sucked into a vicious cycle, where we feel that life is closing in around us.

Thanks so much for sharing this reflection again Mike!

Great picture. Timely topic. As I sit here writing the, a coworker's wife is lying in an intensive care room bed in a coma from a brain aneurysm that occurred over the weekend. He is a hard working, driven person. Whenever something tragic happens to someone I know well -- or to their families -- I end up doing a bit of soul-searching. Fortunately, I usually find that I'm not too far off track from where I want to be.
