Red Dwarf Sumac Leaves

Be aware of your fiery expressions.

Sometimes they can soothe with passion.

Sometimes they can sting with pain.

This brilliant colour does make one stop to take notice. It does seem like a warning sign of some sort. Or it is desperate to get one’s atttention to snag some extra energetic meals from nature viewers.

Dear Evita, what a singularly striking photo. Wow!! And I really like the the thought with it. I learned that energy in itself is good nor bad. It is how we direct and channel energy that matters, which is what you state here.

I learned this in the Australian rainforest when I saw that NO emotion was bad. It was what I DID with that emotion. I am highly passionate and emotional being full of alive energy vibrating in every fiber of my being, so for me to see at age 26 that I didn’t have to “fix” or “cut out” some part of me, or stop being it, or tame it down, was one of the biggest insights of my life.

For me to see that I COULD be all the energy that IS me, and all I had to do was consciously choose how I would expend that energy. Not be a reaction to life, but rather a conscious CHOICE to Life. That was a huge insight and so utterly liberating.

For me there are no rules. There are no shoulds. For me there is not even karma (because ALL is already in balance and ALL is already Love) there may be consequences to certain actions and there may be the laws of nature. If I am mean to everyone they may not want to be around me, but then some kind soul MAAAAY come forward and STILL reach out with love, meanness or not. I am kind because it feel soothing and joyful to ME. Or if I jump off a 1000 foot cliff onto a rock, there’s a good chance I’ll die, but then people have even broken this law of nature and lived through things like this. Life is magical beyond words.

I love how you can inspire such a response from me with one single photo and three teeny lines. I LOVE how only you can do that.

    Love,
    Robin
