Peace At All Levels

Today our Canadian readers have their Thanksgiving Holiday.
Two years ago as I sat down to this festive table, it literally changed my life.
I connected the dots. I personalized. I empathized. I felt.
My eyes opened and life has never been the same since.
It is today full of more peace and love than ever before.
Today – I am thankful on this day, and every day for all the amazing plant life Mother Nature provides us with in peace.
There is no more need to take the lives of countless birds, just to satisfy a tradition that can as easily be changed, as it was made.
I simply invite you on this day, as you give thanks, to reflect on that.

Hi Evita,
This is a beautiful shot, and some nice words.. Thanks for that!
Sweet!! Love the perfect simplicity..the surrounding blurr. Really nice image.
We all have that one moment that changed our lives. Thanks for the invitation. We don’t have Thanksgiving Day but we sure do have our ways of saying thanks.
I am learning to thank and bless each moment for what it is and what it has to offer us. We consume energy in dense form as well as successive light and subtler forms. When not fully digested, our meals back up and cause us to suffer. Therefore, if we slow down to engage and marry into what we are doing with each moment, we become happy co-creators or dismantlers of the Universe.
I think my “Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday” so different than my south frontier neighborhoods. I think it about the seasonal change, last time to drink a beer by mowing his lawn, pack falling leaves, enjoy the patio one last time and smell the smoke from the fire. That it’s my Thanksgiving. I’m not taking my place for the Black Monday shopping….
