Just afraid to put my hand inside... Interesting finding... I think if I and my son found this hole in the rock, we will explore with a branch before leave it there...

Hi Evita,
I agree with Sara, you should definitively write a book and compile all these nice messages and pictures! You are so talented in this! Have a nice week end.

Evita,
Okay...I missed the spider the first time!!! HaHa!! Maybe it means we can start to get those cobwebs of our own if we're not moving the rocks around to uncover what's beneath...hmmm....

@ LANCE - Lance before you start moving those rocks ... did you see the big spider hole and the spider sitting inside? LOL, I know it is hard to see him, I couldn't get more light in there.

But all kidding aside, this is exactly why I wrote what I did, yes let us ask what is beneath those rocks. Spider or no spider, people let a lot of fear paralyze them, when there is so much more that we can do, so much more we are capable of if we only allow ourselves to go deeper...

@ SARA - Thanks so much Sara! You know I so, so much want to do that - so it means a lot that other people, like you think so too, that it is not just my bias for these photos ;)

Thank you also Sara for the beautiful words you left me with - they touched my heart deeply.

@ JOHN - Thanks so much John, as always :)

Evita -- I think you should make a book out of these beautiful pictures and your writings. It would be such an inspirational book.

I was taken my your gentle response to peenkfrik and this line in particular: "It is at times of the worst “tragedies” that we can lift ourselves up and those around us by giving them a different meaning by focusing on all that we can be grateful for."

You're someone very special and I am grateful for the wisdom you share:~)

Evita,
What a great picture to go with this thought! Sometimes, we don't move all those rocks "on the surface", to get to those gems buried beneath. Too much work. What if we fail. I'll look like a fool. The "rocks" on the surface are just fine...

Okay, I'm all for moving some of those "rocks" around, and seeing what lies deeper within...

@ PEENKFRIK - From personal experience, I know that when something strikes that we call a "tragedy", we are usually left in a lot of fear and despair. But I have also lived passed great fear and today live to tell that there is another way beyond it, another way around it, another way to see it and experience it.

Everything that we see in the world around us, WE are in control of assigning it a meaning. We may not be able to control the events of life, but we can control how we react.

As bad as anything may seem, there is always hope, there is always something good that one can find to be grateful for. It is at times of the worst "tragedies" that we can lift ourselves up and those around us by giving them a different meaning by focusing on all that we can be grateful for.

In this way we become the hope, not the fear. Hope pulls us up, fear pulls us down.

I send you many blessings as you move through this time.
