We Are One
Perhaps you have heard the statement “we are one.“
Perhaps you have acknowledged its deeper meaning.
Perhaps it is meaningless to you at this time
But realize this; just as the petals of a flower all come together to make up one flower.
So do all the people in their being, come together to make up one being.
We are indeed one.
Therefore fighting against each other, makes as much sense as the flower petals fighting against one another.
What kind of flower would there be?
What state of being is the world in?

Evita this passage you’ve written is absolutely brilliant! What a perfect analogy about the flower and the petals working together as one. It’s just so simple, yet profound. And the pic… how did you ever get the green stem to stand out against the green background? :-) You’re an artiste.
Hi Evita,
I’ve been away of your blog quite a while and I’m happy I came back to it! Are we speaking now about altruism! I remember I was already thinking here that the human being is on the road of extinction because we simply do not care anymore of the others! What do you feel about that? I’m still chocked sometime when I see the reaction of people on a daily base! No one is helping the old lady to climb in a bus anymore, no one will even let her a seat if the bus is full. The success of a society is based on helping each other. Did we forget that?
Maybe we are like a sunflower with flowers within a flower. Or maybe the universe is still a seed and we are all seeds and some of us are beginning to bloom.

@ CHRIS – I hear what you are saying Chris and I have wondered about that many time myself. But in the past few years as I have grown and opened myself to a brand new world I have to tell you – there is hope! In fact there is more than hope, there is a growing number of people in this world that are truly lightworkers, they live and speak from the heart.
So for the most part, yes I still have to agree, most people are in a deep fog and have forgotten that we live better together, by helping and supporting each other…but you know how nature has a funny way of helping itself. I have a feeling there will very soon come a time, where we as a human race will be tested on how well we work together. We will awake and realize that together, not separate is the way to go. This is of course not true for all of us, as there is human free will, but those who do not learn how to work together and cooperate, will I have a feeling have a very hard time surviving…
@ BERN – How beautiful… I think many of us are indeed beginning to bloom. Imagine the Universe when there is a blooming canvas upon her…
