Standing Tall, Standing Proud
What I admire most about people I think, is when they stand up for what they believe in.
People who work for the greater good, people who are not afraid to speak the greater truths.

If we could all stand tall and proud when faced with something we feel passionate about;
And not cower away in fear.
If we could all stand tall and proud when the moment requires us to raise our voices;
And not melt away in silence.
If we could all stand tall and proud in the face of injustice;
And not pretend that these things don’t exist.
If we could all….
Imagine what a world that would be.

Another wonderful bokeh I like. Thanks for the inspiration. Guess we could all keep on dreaming, fighting and imagining…. ;)
Photography is one of my favorite topics and I have been thinking of creating a photography blog for some time now. Visiting your has re-lit that particular fire, really like this site and your photographs, this one is particularly good in my view, the way you have focused on the flower and left the rest out of focus but full of colour.
Evita — I want to be you and be able to write something so inspiration in so few words, instead of my 500 words, if I’m lucky:~)
My favorite line is this one,
“If we could all stand tall and proud in the face of injustice; And not pretend that these things don’t exist.”
These words give me goosebumps. It makes me think about all the people I know, and have read about, who risked it all to speak out about an injustice. As you said, “…if we could all do this….imagine what a world that would be.”

Yes it would be quite the world if all would stand up and be passionate about what they believe in as long as we all came from love and not from ego.
