Sharing the Inspiration and Beauty of our Evolving World.

Blissfully High

SkyWatch Friday

In a world that all too often puts us down,
we need encouragement to shoot for the top.

Don’t settle for anything that is not what or who you truly are.

Don’t let the egos of others push your dreams aside.

Reach for the top.

Grow in the areas of your passions.

And you will find yourself blissfully high;
Where nothing is impossible and the view is magnificent.

@ JOE – LOL, it was so tall, I think you can see the perspective to the trees around it!

@ CHRIS – Thank you so much Chris for the feedback!

As for the words, I have to tell you in the end it really comes down to the choices we make. Too many of us live in fear, live tied to obstacles and illusions that are not serving us or the greater good. I understand we have been conditioned this way, but everyday we have a chance and choice to re-invent ourselves.

So the way I see it, it all depends how happy our lives are, how satisfied we are with where things are going that will most likely be a deciding factor. Some people are inspired to change when they see life isn’t going the way they hoped and some live in misery all their lives, convincing themselves that they have no other choice.

Personally, I feel we are much more magnificent and life is much too precious to waste time not being fully alive. Yes change is involved here and it may mean stepping out of a comfort zone, but at the end of the day, it all depends on what kind of a life you will look back and say you’ve lived – one based on joy and happiness or one based on regrets.

@ PEENFRIK – I am glad it came at the right time – you are so welcome :)

@ PAT – Thank you so much Pat for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

I find this an amazing perspective and one I will now think of when I am amidst the towering trees up on my mountain…or anywhere. I won’t forget this. I love trees like they are my kindred family….they ARE. I feel them AND I feel THEM feeling ME. This is one bit of beautiful wisdom that I’ll tuck in my pocket and take out when I need it. What better place to do that than while standing in a grove of tall towering trees.

And if you think of how these trees grow so tall even in the face of possibly being struck down by lightning or high winds, they STILL grow and reach for the sky often at great risk. I LOVE that. This is a truly beautiful and profound post. I love how something seemingly simple can be sooooo life changing. Thank you dear beautiful Evita. I love the way you see the world. It is fresh and clean and uplifting. Hugs, Robin

  10. Davina says:

I love trees… and this one is so unique. Looks like it is pointing, “This way, please.” :)

  11. The tree reminds me of a bonsai tree — the words would look great on a hanging scroll next to it.

    Evita,

I know I can’t keep saying the same over and over again, but I’m going to. This my favorite of all your sites. I love how you use a picture and combine it with the perfect words:~)

Today,I must have needed to hear them. I read your poem aloud and it brought tears my eyes.

    Thank you friend:~)

    Hi Evita,
Wow again, because you are telling me words that, just right now, are helping me to take decision. I’ve been thinking about big changes and i think I will simply go for it now… Thanks a million!

@ ROBIN – Hello Robin and thank you for those beautiful and so valuable thoughts!

As I am sure I told you before, I have developed a renewed respect for trees in the last few years. We walk past hundreds each day, but we really all too often don’t see the amazing role they play in our lives – not just in producing oxygen, not just in regulating the climate, but in being such great teachers for us – if we only look, if we only listen, if we only open ourselves up and feel the lessons and messages they convey.

And I love what you said about them growing despite the dangers. Yes, they do, they do not cower but grow to their highest potential – and what about us?

If we could only find just that as inspiration from them, it would make the world of a difference in our lives. Thank you as always for your heart-felt thoughts :)

@ JOHN – Thank you so much John, it was such a pleasure to put together!

@ JOEMILL – Thank you, and thanks so much for stopping by here :)

@ MARCIE – Thanks Marcie, I enjoy looking at the world in so many different ways.

@ DAVINA – I like that! Yes indeed, “this way please” perhaps to growth, learning or just some fun :)

@ CHRIS – Yes indeed, I had that thought too when I look at the photo, but not in real life. This guy was massive!!! I guess it is a really blown up version of a bonsai tree ;)

@ SARA – Oh Sara that means so much! I love all the sites too, but I have a soft spot for this one, I have to confess too. Perhaps because it is the lightest of them all…

And I am so happy if I can share one of these beautiful moments of nature with another, if my words can make any difference in their life – that is a gift beyond any other.

Thank you for telling me what you did – it is both humbling and inspiring to continue what I do :)

    @ RIAN – Thank you Rian :)

@ CHRIS – Chris, you are so welcome!!! I am touched that my words here inspired you or helped in some way!

Definitely live out your own truth and you will find the peace and happiness that makes us feel at home and one with all that is.

All the best with your changes!!!!
