Unexpected Moments

Red Leaf Plant

Just when you think everything is going smoothly;

Just when you think you know how things will turn out;

Just when you think you are in charge or control;

There come unexpected moments into each of our lives.

These however need not be “bad” or looked upon negatively.

Sure they may knock us off of our feet, but know that everything that is in or comes into your life, does so for a reason.

A reason many of us may not grasp until a much later time, but a reason nonetheless.

    A door is always left open for unexpected moments to enter our lives. It’s how we welcome them Evita !

    Hi Evita. Such richness of colour AND words. My eyes are drawn to that tiny strand of what I think is from a spider’s web stretching from one leaf to the other on the left side.

    @ SADIA – Great addition Sadia! It sounds like you have a wonderfully positive way of looking at those unexpected moments! That is wonderful to hear :)

    @ MARTIE – Thank you Martie :)

    @ DAVINA – Thank you Davina! I see you saw that too, it was a spider web indeed and I was surprised that is showed up as well as it did – great eye!

  6. Preetam says:

    Opps, not flower, plant. LOL

  7. Evita says:

    @PREETAM – I wish I could tell you what this plant/flower was, but I don’t know. I just really enjoyed taking a photo of it :)

    Impressive color and texture this plant. About the thinking, is depending how you take a bad fact. Me I prefer the “statu-quo” where we don’t have excessively good moment and excessively bad moment (same than a drug trip… i think). Good week.

  9. Evita says:

    @ DOUM – Thanks so much Doum for your additions! In the end, our happiness really does depend on “HOW” we choose to take a “bad” moment.

    Our choices can make all the difference in the world.
