Sharing the Inspiration and Beauty of our Evolving World.

Say What?

Woodpecker on a Tree Trunk

How often does your head turn when you hear a headline?

How about when the person next to you indulges you in some juicy gossip?

Or what about when someone wants to vent with you about another person?

Do you ever stop and think about why we are drawn to drama, and more than less, negative drama?

What piece inside of us, what part of us needs that fix and why?

May we reflect today on being more conscious of not getting caught up in the drama that our world presents us with and focus more on the beauty and stillness around us.

I am back in the States for the summer, visiting for the first time in 3 years. On my second morning here, I sat outside on the veranda with my morning coffee and heard a sound I hadn’t heard in three years: the sound of a woodpecker.

I hear stillness by listening to nature.
This image reminded me of that.

    Thank you.

Hehehe! Funny title another time. Northern flicker return is call spring… and helps to remove some ants on my land… Nice thinking too, for a long Monday…
