Sacred Silence

There is much noise in our world today, and often we all need some silence to hear our souls and our hearts.
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.Excerpt from Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

I agree Evita, I love the quietness when I’m hiking through the woods. A beautiful capture of this lovely bird. Definitely a peaceful and serene image. A warm and appealing composition.
Hi Evita. As soon as I saw your headline AND this photo I clicked on your post in my Reader. I love birds and I love silence. This looks like a baby robin???
@ JOHN – Thank you John – nothing like spending beautiful time in and with nature!
@ DAVINA – Hi Davina, yes you are correct, I walked around the bush and there it was sitting, and didn’t even fly away when I came so close to it. I thought it was hurt, but after a couple of camera clicks, it flew away, so I assume it is ok :)
