Fullness of Life

Each day we have a choice;
To live in happiness or to live in sadness.
To live in gratitude or to live in wanting.
To live in abundance or to live in scarcity.
To live in peace or to live in turmoil.
To live in the fullness of life or in the lack thereof.
I choose the fullness of life.

Hi Evita. It’s nice to see the trees coming to life again isn’t it? I like this passage because there are so many it can be “seen”. Even experiencing the uncomfortable feelings of sadness, turmoil, etc can bring a certain fullness when we can learn from them.
Excellent! I like the light in the trees. Great message for the day, Evita. Thanks, Eric
@ DAVINA – Hello Davina! It sure is! Some are already full, where as others are taking their time. I think there is a lesson for us in that as well!
And you are absolutely right, everything can serve us and teach us, the difference I believe is whether we go through it consciously or unconsciously.
Thanks for that lovely addition!
@ ERIC – Thank you so much Eric :)
Me too, fullness of light. Gorgeous text and wonderful picture to illustrate it as usually. Thanks for sharing this with uw.
The position of the sunlight would have made this a challenging shot. Well done Evita
I particularly love this one. As you know, I adore trees and your words just moved me deeply. I especially resonate with this line: “To live in gratitude or to live in wanting.” That is SUCH a powerful line. And it is so good for me to be reminded of this as it is one of me deepest core beliefs, more than a belief; it is something I live by. And when I do this, my life feels always rich and full.
Another part that often goes with this is that when we think/feel that we are going through a “rough or hard” time it is important to remember that there are others who are going through things far worse than we can even imagine. I don’t wish pain on anyone, but remembering this can REALLY give us perspective. I love perspective and how it works; it can change our whole outlook.
Thank you my dear beautiful Evita for touching my heart so deeply with so few words and one single image. I know you have other blogs, which I also love, but this one I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS find soooo soothing. It resonates with me in it’s clean and beautiful simplicity. Kind of like how I feel in nature. I don’t have to think a lot, I can just feel and “be” exactly where I’m at…effortlessly.
I’ve often thought of doing a site just like this. I think this every time I come here. Or what I could do is chose one day a week to do a photo/poem (or single 2 -3 line thought) post.
Thank you for always inspiring me. I go away feeling more ME, calmer and just satisfied with Life.
You are in my thoughts and heart….always.
Robin
PS I’ve had almost no time for blogging or commenting but I wanted to come and visit you and I’m so glad I did. I always think of that photo of you with your face against the moss, and the leaves around your head, autumn leaves that were the same color as you hair. You are as lovely outside as you are inside. Evita, I am honor to know you and to have our souls connect. Love, Robin
super cheerful summery image. love it!
@ CHRIS – Wonderful to hear Chris :)
@ THOMAS – Yes, I played around with the light a bit, but it was such a sunny day!!!
@ ROBIN – Hello Robin – it is always so good to hear from you! Thank you so much for including that valuable thought for others to learn from and consider too. Indeed, one moment of consciousness about ourselves and others can snap us back into the bigger picture of life.
Oh Robin you hit on such a funny point too. You know as much as I love my other sites too (and equally) I have to tell you that this one is my favorite too. I feel “different” when I prepare the photos and words for it and I have to confess I love visiting it myself too :)
You also have so much potential and although you are very busy right now, I wish you all best in inspiration and creation as I know that whatever you touch Robin turns to “love” :)
@ JOE – Thank you Joe – have a great weekend!
Delicious text with right picture! It is a talent that I did not really. Bravo for your artistic research.
@ DOUM – Thank you – that is really nice of you to say :)
