Two Sides To Every Story

Old and New House

Each day we hear stories, big stories, small stories, happy stories, sad stories, news stories, personal stories…

When we hear these stories however, may we not be quick to judge or take on opinions.

It is through such premature actions that we take on false beliefs and judge unfairly.

May we always remember that there are always two sides to every story and that if we are to take a stance one way or another, we should consider both of these fully and fairly.

  1. Yes, definitely. It is not always easy to remember that there are two sides, is it?

  2. That is so true! We are always so quick to jump to conclusions or side with one party that we become biased and totally miss the other side’s story!

Excellent choice of images to illustrate your ‘two sides to every story’ point. It’s so very true…

Super! The two worlds… Very symbolic – prosperity and poverty…

@ ERIC – No, it is not Eric. It takes a very heightened level of consciousness to do so. But I personally love to push myself to that next level. As we grow, we evolve…

@ TOM – Indeed we are! Thanks for your visit Tom!

@ MARCIE – Thanks Marcie. I just loved this image as it is one house, with two very different sides to it.

    @ BEANOW – Thanks Beata!

  6. I like to look at stories as just interesting. It is all unique and fascinating. Nothing to judge here. Just another story that is being played out. That makes it beautiful instead of the moment being polarized. Diversity for different people to play out different roles and different parts in everyday life.

@ NATURAL MOMENTS – Thanks for sharing that approach Bernie! That is indeed a great way of looking at it – it just is, interesting at that, but no need to get caught up in it one way or the other.

May we all learn from such examples – thank you!

Well it’s common in many countries. These scenes always open a huge gap between social castes, riches and moneyless, healthy and sick peoples. Nice opposition this picture.
