Unifying Skies

Cuba Water

As the waves roll one over the other;

As the clouds pass by one after another;

So do we walk one beside the other through this thing called life.

As the oceans flow one into the other;

As the skies melt around one another;

So should we feel the oneness of each other, in this thing called life.

    Beautiful photo, Evita. I really like the layout of your site. Did you create the theme yourself?

  2. Marcie says:

    Stunning colors. Can there be any other shades of blue? I think you’ve captured the entire spectrum!!!! Beautiful!!!!

    @ WREN – Hi Wren, thanks for your visit!

    As for the theme, my husband created it (he is a web developer) – I will pass along the compliments, thank you :)

    @ MARCIE – Thanks, Marcie. That is so true, we think there is “blue”, but until we see it in perspective to other blues, we realize just how diverse one color can be.

    @ DEE – Thank you Dee, me too! Tropical places are my favorite places to relax too.

    @ DANIEL – Thanks Daniel :)

    @ JOHN – Thank you.

    @ SECRET MOM THOUGHTS – Thanks – it is Varadero, Cuba, which has one of the best beaches that I have ever seen!

  8. Ocean views are one of my favorite pictures and this one is absolutely beautiful Evita. Lovely layered blue tones, a superb composition. Possibly the horizon could be slightly straightened. A stunning image.

  9. Such beautiful shades of blue…this is lovely

  10. Evita says:

    @ JOHN – Thank you so much John. And yes , I completely agree about the horizon. When I was taking this shot I was more in awe with my surroundings than anything else, and focused on the horizon, but in a too excited manner :)

    Once shot of course, aside from rotating it, I could not fix it. I guess photoshop could, but I do not touch up any of my pics at all, so it stayed as is. I thank you so much John, for all your constructive feedback!

    @ BLUECHAMELEON – Thank you very much and thanks for stopping by!

  11. John says:

    Evita — As usual, I love the picture, but I was really taken by what your wrote. I said this before, but I always read your poetry out loud and it sings like a song. I really liked the last line, “So should we feel the oneness of each other, in this thing called life.” Beautiful:~)

  13. Deanna says:

    @ SARA – Oh thank you so much Sara. Your comments are always so much appreciated and I am touched by your kindness!!! Thank you!

    @ DEANNA – Thanks Deanna, right now I wish I was back there too…
