Homes

There are so many places that are called a “home”.
They may be big. They may be small.
They may be old. They may be new.
They may be decorated. They may be plain.
They may be temporary. They may be permanent.
No matter what home you have. Love it as you live in it. See the best in it. Make the most of it.
We all make the home we make for a bigger purpose than sometimes our understanding allows us to grasp.

One persons castle is another person’s prison, one person’s ‘beauty’ is anothers ‘vulgarity’. I love this image and your words which are perfect. Like the people who dwell inside, our homes are immensely personal and individual.
A photograph with so many meanings, awesome work
Cute and colorful…
Oh…these are so sweet. Home sweet home!!!
Love this shot and your words are perfect.
Super! :)
Great picture – where do you FIND these? The words are so appropriate as well. There seems to be a disease called “Discontent” running rampant – a good shot of greatfulness could cure that!
I must share this – my husband put some sheet metal on the roof of the large bird feeder we have to keep the squirrels from jumping on it from the nearby tree branches, eatting all the seeds before the birds get any. It works – the first ones jumping did a fast slide off. The ledge around the edge of the feeder is just enough room for the birds, so they are aced out. The birdhouse pictures reminded me of this.

@ EYES WIDE SHUT – Very wisely spoken! Our homes are indeed very personal. What happens to a lot of people I think is that they start looking at other people’s homes and then finding dissatisfaction with their own…imagine if the birds did that…nature would never get anywhere ;)
@ SIDNEY – Thank you :)
@ MARCIE – Thanks, I really love how creative and artistic some people are and this is just one of those examples of what we as humans can create!
@ DANIEL – Thank you very much Daniel.
@ BEANOW – Thanks Beata!
@ SUZEN – LOL ;) suZen when I am out in nature, it is not I who find them, but they who find me. Honestly there are such amazing things all around us, even in the places where we least expect… perhaps the most in the places where we least expect.
Your story is cute…I know those squirrels are very smart and it would all be fine and dandy for them to eat, but if the little birds could get some too…well not the case, eh ;)
Oh dear Evita this photo just took my breath away. You are so very gifted in the way you see the world. But it is really the way you see yourself with such grace and beauty. True beauty. Your words here speak of even the soul’s home, our human body, as well as the places we rest that body. This line speaks to me of my own physical body that houses my soul.
“No matter what home you have. Love it as you live in it.”
That is SO powerful. This whole post is loaded with layers of meaning. But that is how YOU are. WHO you are. Loaded with so many rich layers of intuitive wisdom. Your “home” truly houses a gifted and exquisitely beautiful soul.
I’ve missed you dear friend. I’ve been working extra long days and 7 days a week on book relate “Stuff”. But it feels so good to connect with you here. You are ALWAYS with me. Thank you for just for being who you ARE.
Love,
Robin
@ ROBIN -Hello Dear Robin….
I have to say I relate to the workload completely as we are going through a site restructuring on Evolving Wellness.
You are so kind Robin, always so supportive, uplifting and appreciative – it is always such a welcome and pleasant energy!
I LOVE your thought about our body as a home…yes, yes, yes – there is a big message in that too!
Robin thank you again too and life’s best blessings to you always :)
