Preservation Through Appreciation

One of my most favorite places in the world are the tropics. One is always sure to find unique and captivating plant and animal life there, as well as an amazing feeling of relaxation.

As I was walking along a beach in the evening one day, I came face to face with this little guy. He let me come so close to him and he barely budged.  It was an amazing moment of bonding.

I admired his features, marveled at his uniqueness and was filled with joy at this opportunity to experience being in the presence of this little, unique being.

I don’t know how anyone can harm these precious creatures, especially after coming face to face with them.

In our world today however, it is not just crabs that have their lives taken away maliciously – many animals face this fate.

My belief is that if more of us connected with nature and truly appreciated its preciousness and uniqueness, many animal lives could be spared.

Hence today, I invite you to think about the animals of the world and to see them for the precious and irreplaceable beings they are, as they try to live out their own life experience here on this planet, along side us.
