Changing Skins

Be comfortable in the skin you are in;

But do not be afraid to change.

In our internal essence, we always stay who we are;

But externally we can express ourselves in many ways.

    Hi Evita. What a cool photo! This a very wise passage you have written. Children are real pros at playing with expressing themselves fearlessly. I think as adults we get too hung up on finding one way of being that is comfortable, and clinging to it.

    Beautifully composed image Evita. The colors are perfectly saturated.

    Hi Davina,

    Thanks!I totally agree when it comes to children being able to express themselves, and then we suppress that expression for various reasons.

    A limited soul can never find true fulfilment, satisfaction or peace. Hence, I think we do need to look at ourselves more and be open to just “opening up”.

    Hi Thomas,

    Thank you Thomas – palm trees and all their parts are such a pleasure to photograph for me :)

    What a beautiful photo and post, Evita!!!

    There is nothing as constant as change as the old adage goes. My world sure has changed for the better…with the book coming out. And all because I said YES!!! and went for it.

    Hugs, JJ

    The change of our form is part of our mortal process, we must embrace the changes and understand that which is truly us remains the same in essence.

    @ MARCIE – Thank you! Yes they are neat looking, I even had the chance to drink the water of one and it was very pleasant.

    @ JJ LOCH – Thanks JJ and I am so excited to hear more about your book!!!!

    Change indeed is amazing, and even if it seems “bad” it is always changing for the better, to push us toward a new level of growth.

    @ MARK – Oh Mark that is so wonderfully expressed! Thank you for that beautiful input!

    Wonderful shot! I wish I could eat a fresh coconut as I used to do a long time ago in Madagascar!

      @ STANDLEY – Thanks! Oh how lucky of you to be able to eat fresh coconut! I only had the chance to try the juice of one, once on vacation in Cuba! I would love to be able to incorporate them more regularly!
