Serenity

As the sun sets low in the sky and as dusk falls upon the land, there is an unmistakable feeling of serenity.
One cannot help but be mesmerized by nature giving in to the night. It does not fight it, it does not resist it, and it is not upset by it. It simply allows.
Serenity to me means so much more than just being calm or tranquil.
It is living life in the flow of allowance, not resistance. It is about being part of the natural flow of things. It is also about accepting change around us with a polite ease.
I hence leave you today with the following quote to reflect on:
| “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” – St. Francis of Assisi |

How beautiful, Evita—the scene you so brilliantly captured and the sentiment you so eloquently captured in words.
I do that, too. See things and “know” instantly a profound truth matched to what I see in “reality.” Those moments of perfect clarity, however, somehow disappear in the face of daily circumstances—just when I need most to remember them, and to FEEL them. I am having such a period, now.
So, I offer my sincere thanks to you for offering your beautiful moments to us and thanks to the unseen for guiding me to you. Especially on this day. Your photo will help me remember your words; the power of both methods combined might help me remember the message later in the day. ;)

Thank you Julie – I really appreciate the feedback and your kind words!
I do hope that whatever you are going through, you look within for answers and allow your inner being to guide you – for then you will never go wrong. And yes indeed – change can be very hard and even traumatic for some – but our world and all that is in it is constantly changing – and it is when we accept not resist those changes that our being feels true peace.
Enjoy your day!
This is a marvelous initiative! You may find it interesting to know that one of my businesses is a specialized photography company. There is nothing like reconnecting to the world around youand the energy vibrations that communicate in unseen ways.
Yes Liara indeed – I love the energy, the feeling and the being that I am when in nature and in stillness – it is one that brings a type of happiness and fulfillment that no money in the world can buy!
Very nice photo. Tranquil and serene. A nice place to be.
Indeed it was David, this area is now under conservation and restoration and it is just magnificent at how wildlife flourish when we do not interfere.
