Caught In A Jam

Do you ever feel like you got caught in a jam?

Do you ever think that you are in over your head?

As hopeless or grim as some situations appear, remember this:

Have faith that this too shall pass.

Have belief that all will work out well.

And finally and most importantly, have patience to foster the faith and belief.

Please tell me that he “untagled himself?”

He looks like he is strong and didn’t give up!:)

I cannot wait to really sink my eye (and heart) into your site! :-)

    Soon again,
    Henie

LOL! He’s adorable!! Raccoons are so fun to observe, and capturing him in a balancing act brings such pleasure…

And then I read your words, Evita. Yes. The most important of all is the patience. I’m still learning to practice that, so I welcome your reminder! ;)

  3. Great shot! Poor little raccoon.

  4. Evita says:

@HENIE – Yes, the good news is that he did untangle himself. Poor little guy was caught like that on the neighbour’s tree at the front of their house. He waited it out until no spectators were around, fed a little on the branch endings and eventually came down.

We had a front row seat from our upstairs window of the events. It was so neat to see their coping skills.

Thank you for stopping by :)

@JULIE – As I wrote above to Henie, it was an experience indeed to watch this little one manage to get out. But Julie I have to say I credit the words actually to the raccoon. Not for a second did he panic when he got caught or when people kept popping by to see him like that. He simply in stillness, waited it out. With that patience, when he felt safe he manoeuvred himself around and all was well.

I just love how nature teaches us the most amazing lessons.

@WHITE OLEANDER – Thank you and thanks for stopping by. The good news, is that all ended well and he even got a good meal out of this tree :)

Hi Evita. I just clicked over from my blog. Thanks for reading and commenting. Oh, this poor little guy! I’m glad to hear that he untangled himself.

That is an amazing photograph, BTW. I can’t wait to come back and check out the rest of your work.

  9. Evita says:

@dxtr – Yes, it did manage to make it out of this successfully – so there is a happy ending to this story :)

@DAVINA – Thanks for popping over and thank you. I really love sharing some of my photographs with small inspirations, and even some little adventures like this raccoon got into :)

@THOMAS – Thank you Thomas – I really appreciate your feedback.

@QISHI87 – Yeah, I felt for this little fella too as I was watching him, knowing that there was nothing really that I could do to help, but he successfully got himself out…eventually.

As to how I got the photo, I pulled up on our driveway and noticed there was a raccoon stuck in our neighbour’s tree, so I grabbed the camera and the rest is history :)
