  1. Hi Evita

    Beautiful and exciting.
It reminds me of when I was a child. We used to have lots of these plants in our garden – hibiscus I think it is. They always used to fascinate me. The artwork that I was most proud of in junior school was a painting I did of these.

I just love the message here Evita! It is one I believe in and live strongly. People often say to me how can you be so upbeat and in love with Life when there is so suffering and hate in the world?

Well, it’s not that I am unaware of the suffering, it just that I chose to ALSO see ALL the astounding beauty. It’s what I choose to identify with. As to the suffering: instead of getting depressed or viewing the world negatively due to the suffering, wars, hate, etc. I instead choose to do something about it, whatever I can within my means. AND it is BECAUSE of all the suffering that I choose to live each day FULLY aware of what I have been given. And why I choose to focus on the good in the world, the beauty, the love and grace. Thank you for always inspiring me.

I hope your vacation was beautiful and peaceful.
You have been in my thoughts.
    Much love,
    Robin

    Hello Juliet!

Yes I think they are hibiscus, what I know for sure is that they are tropical flowers – none of them here in Canada. I revel in them every time I go down south for vacation. They are just so exotically delicate, fascinating as you say and vibrant!

    Hello Robin!

Thank you so much. And you know how I feel…the same. There is so much negativity in our world if that is what one wants to see and sadness and inhumane treatments and the list goes on.

BUT there is also beauty and vibrancy and things so full of love and life and positive energy that for me they overpower anything negative always.

And as you say, it is not about ignoring the other, but about realizing one’s own potential in reference to that and living out life to the fullest and making a difference whenever and where ever one can!

P.S. Yes the vacation was wonderful and I hope to exhibit many more pictures from it throughout the month!
