The idea of a family has changed so much in our society and at first I had my own pre-conditioned ideas about what a family "should" be and then I started opening up to whole new realms. I realize today that many people are really limited or treated unfairly due to a particular "family" situation they have and hence hope to inspire others to see a little more openly and nonjudgementally where this topic is concerned.
