Evolving Scenes

Sharing the Inspiration and Beauty of our Evolving World.

The Next Generation

May we celebrate all new generations.

Each new generation comes into this world
tapped into the collective whole of all past generations.

They can learn quicker what did not work for us,
and move this world to a new, and better state of being.

May we see the hope and potential the next generation brings,
rather than put down or resist their ideas.

They see past our choices and actions, and are ready to take the world to the next level.

When humans are young, they can feel and sense how the world is as it is. They then see easily what they can add to it through how they speak and listen and interact honestly with the world. However, often, when they do get families, instead of abandoning the nest to make the next nest, they hunker down in the same nest and hoard what had worked that got them there in the first place. They then begin to lose touch with the ongoing conversation of the earth and its environment. Having been liberal, they then become conservative, not wanting to lose what they perceive they have gained. However, the kids then leave the nest and can see more clearly what is going on right now. However, they too then fall into the nest hole, never to be whole again. So what are humans to do. Humans can redefine home and their nests by making a portable nest. Humans can keep on giving birth and releasing that which comes out right away, instead of holding on to the riches. Humans can learn to stay forever young, like a chick who explores every nook and cranny in one’s habitat and mind and heart. We can each step up to the next level now by releasing something from the past and the future. Ungrip the monkey hands and we can learn to paddle with floppy feet.
