Uniqueness

Isn’t nature great?
You just never know what you will see, what you will encounter or what will come across your path.
Unique species. Unique sights. Unique sounds.
Marvel them all – for it is in unique diversity that we see our commonality.

“It is in unique diversity that we see our commonality.” That is a very beautiful line, Evita.
Dearest Evita,
I gasped when I saw this photo. It is of course waaaaay beyond stunning? He looks like someone painted him, and against the green grass he is magnificent! You must have taken this as it has your copyright on it. LUCKY YOU!!! to see something like this. WOW! I’ve not seen lizards like this since living in Australia, where they have the Blue Tongued Lizard, which had a really bright blue tongue that flicks in and out, creating flashes of rich blue. So far I’ve only seen smaller lizards here in NM, although we do have some beautifully shaped ones with delightful little spikes and horns on them. I love them; they blend in very well with their environment.
I also really liked what you wrote here. And yes, Nature is everything to me; I couldn’t live without her. Actually none of us can.
Thank you dear one for sharing such beauty…and for not being afraid of it. You have such an open and fresh-air spirit…so beautiful!
Hugs,
Robin :)
Julie – thank you – I truly live it as I believe it!
Robin – this photo was taken, yes by me, while on vacation in the Mayan Riviera. We do not have any lizards where I live at least nothing close to this :)
I just love seeing creatures like this – they move me, they inspire me and their uniqueness captivates me. Years ago perhaps I would be grossed out by it or scared of it, but today I feel blessed to share life with it!!!!
