The tide brings in to us that which wells up to us from the deep. Some comb the shores for messages in bottles, while others feast upon its great bounty, while yet even others build castles in the sand knowing full well that the sea will reclaim all that has been offered to us.
There are those who only can see coastal erosion while others sight deliverance. But if we soften our eyes one can feel the ocean breathing gently as the earth takes its walk around the cosmos. Its breath does get labored at times when it goes for a run. Take care not to step in its mucous when the earth periodically catches a cold.
What a lovely place to usher in the New Year! Wishing you peace and happiness in 2011.
