Fun Facts Friday: Chickadees

Fun Facts Friday: Chickadees
The chickadee is a very common bird to many parts of the world. Insects form a large part of their diet, especially in summer, while seeds and berries become important in winter. Black oil sunflower seeds are a common favorite.
Did you know that in sparsely populated rural or forested areas, chickadees are often less wary than in urban settings? They can be observed showing a sense of curiosity about the unfamiliar human activity within their habitat. It is also not uncommon to have these birds feed from one’s hand.
It makes one wonder, how much more of nature acts differently under more “natural” circumstances. It can make one reflect too, on how different we are, when we are in more natural versus more unnatural surroundings for us.
May we become more conscious of our surroundings and how they make us feel, creating for ourselves an environment that cultivates us in the most beneficial of ways.

It is often said that when a city dweller enters a forest, all will stop in their tracks because of the disruption pattern a human being may carry. Since they are not in harmony, their energy conflicts with the patterns and cycles that surround them. They then cause distress and mistrust in the environment, because they are not being true or natural to that which they are encountering in this moment. They are being a robot or a zombie that operates on past programing or that which acts upon the food digested by eating other peoples brains or opinions.
However, as one quiets the mind and resolves the mental chatter, one can then authentically talk with the animals and plants. They are then in rhythm with their surroundings and actually enhance the lives of all creation.

I think human beings are only truly human surrounded by nature. In cities and big urban areas, we lose our humanity.
Excelent shot!!! Salut!!!
