Fun Facts: Peacock Feathers
Peacock feathers are some of the most beautiful and colorful objects in nature. Throughout the centuries they were used in various ornamental ways, and carried with them various symbolisms. But do you know what causes the colors in the feathers?
Unlike human hair, which is colored due to pigment, peacock feathers are colored structurally. This means that they get most of their color from light reflection. This is why depending on the angle seen from and the light intensity, the colors slightly change in their appearance.
This is very much the same in our own lives with almost everything we look at. Depending on what angle it is seen from, and with how much light of love, every thing has multiple ways of how it will be seen. Be open to expanding your views of all that you see by looking at it from different angles.
