Beautiful picture Evita…. I love oak and trees… And I enjoy them a lot in France, nothing more beautiful than a walk in forest…
Me too – I’ve been photographing acorns. I just love them with their little hats!
We have a few oak trees near the house and i usually go out and collect the acorns and put them in a dish for the local squirrel to munch on. Well, the squirrel is actually dropping them from the trees at this time of year, so I thought I would help her out by collecting them for easy access. Its truly fun to not compete and to help out, and to be a friend when we can, within the natural community.
Oh I just love Acorns! We have a couple oak trees in our yard that produce very large beautiful acorns. I use the caps to make crafts, mostly my needle felted acorns. I call them good luck charms, because Acorns represent so many things. Abundance, potential, strength, patience, and much more. They are beautiful little reminders of many simple truths in life. I love having them around. You have reminded me I do not have any in my purse or pocket right now, I shall go make a few more! I love to leave them as little gifts for people to find.
You say this so beautifully Evita. When we no longer compete, life is no longer a struggle. We blossom to our highest potential. And we also help the world around us to blossom, because when we are true to ourselves we can’t help having our energy flow out into our surroundings.
