Happy Monday Everyone!

For those of you who have been regular readers here for some time now, you may have noticed that I have not been updating new posts here like I normally do.

As our lives change, as we grow and evolve, so does everything in our life. If we allow it too that is—if we don’t hold it down, limit it or stagnate it into being a certain way… just because that is how it always was.

And so I feel a shift, a new sense of energy, awareness and path for myself and this site.

I find myself more in nature these days than ever before, but less inclined to capture through photography, and more inclined to capture through my heart and soul.

As so as this Earth continues to transform and we continue to transform, so too this site shall transform.

I will still update it with some new photos and verses from time to time for the rest of the summer, but in September when Evolving Scenes turns 3, I hope to unveil and share with you the Evolving Scenes that most represents me and my journey at this time.

Let us all take flight to follow the truth of being that is us, always and in all ways.

Fun Facts: Spider Webs

Spider webs are one of the most fascinating parts of nature. There are so many different types of webs, tangled webs, orb webs, sheet webs, triangular webs and more!

Did you know that web-spinning spiders only use the tips of their legs when creating their webs so that their body doesn’t come in contact with the web and get stuck.  They use a middle claw and the bristles on their leg tips to hang onto a single thread that keeps them balanced until their web is fully made.

Makes one think about how many different “webs” we weave in our daily lives, and ones that we end up getting stuck in ourselves. May we learn to use our talents to better our lives and the lives of those around us, not enslave ourselves or others in unnecessary webs.

Fun Facts: Symbolism

The dragonfly is my most favorite insect. There was a time where I almost dreaded or feared these creatures and have come around full circle to marvel them, befriend them and delight in their presence. Throughout the world, the dragonfly has various meanings associated with its symbolism.

Did you know that in almost every part of the world, the dragonfly symbolizes change and change in the perspective of self realization? In most European countries, the dragonfly was seen as an evil omen. While some Native American tribes see the dragonfly as representing swiftness and activity or a symbol of pure water.

We each have many symbolisms in our own life that we have acquired over time. Examine what symbols you have assigned in your life, and whether these are serving you, or limiting you. All too often, we limit ourselves with various symbols by boxing something in and limiting its potential as well as our own.

Marvel at the beauty and divinity of it all.

Only spin those webs, which you wouldn’t mind getting caught in yourself.

One of the blog sites that I deeply enjoy comes from someone I am happy to call today, my friend Bernie and it is called “Walking In Stillness”

Almost daily, Bernie writes words – sometimes many – sometimes few – which captivate the spirit, stir the heart and invite our minds on a journey. Today I share with you some words from him:

There are so many depths to life, and it seems most of us are living by barely scratching the surface.

Do not be afraid of what lies in those depths. It isn’t always as scary as it may seem.

Moving beyond our fears and in fact removing them altogether sets us free.

No seeker, explorer or inventor would have ever gotten anywhere, without going beyond the surface.

Thus seek and explore the depths of life.

They hold amazing potential of growth for us all.

When you look at something, do you see beauty or ugliness?

Do you see success or failure?

Do you see opportunities or problems?

Look again.

Allow yourself to take on a new perspective.

Allow yourself to see the greater purpose.

Allow yourself to see beauty, where you thought there was only unpleasantness.

The world and your life will take on a whole new meaning.

The power of focus and intention would be nothing without precision.

It is only when we are precise about what we really want, seek or desire;

That we open ourselves up to actually manifesting it.

As you go through your day today, notice at how precise your intentions are.

The Universe can and does give, but only once we are clear about what we really want.

Do You Realize We Are All Connected?

Sit back for a moment and really think about that.

Nothing on this planet is independent of another.

Not one thing, not one creature acts on this planet, without impacting another in some way, be it positive or negative.

We are all connected.

That is why when you act out against another, be it human, animal or thing, you ultimately act out against yourself.

For in the great web of life, we are all connected.
